Principles and Standards

The Humanitarian Principles and the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) reflect Christian values of love, dignity, and justice and give us a shared understanding of what good, fair, and accountable disaster response should look like. Any organisation taking part in a BFAD-Coordinated Response commits to do their best to follow these principles and standards, adapted to fit each organisation’s local context and capacity.
