As a global network committed to strengthening Baptist responses to human need, membership benefits in the Baptist Forum for Aid and Development are centered on our 4 A’s. Together, we enhance our collective capacity to serve faithfully and effectively around the world through access, accountability, administration, and acceleration.
ACCESS
Membership provides both resource and response partners with direct access to a global network of leaders and their organizations. It is a collaborative space for sharing ideas, resources and knowledge.
ADMINISTRATION
BFAD provides standardized tools – from application and reporting templates to implementing guidelines that support financial and operational integrity. We also set expectations for engagement between resource and response partners that exemplifies collaborative and dignified partnership.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Resource partners can engage with confidence in responses and projects through BFAD because of established implementation, monitoring and accountability practices. Response partners can trust in reliable, knowledgeable and committed support.
ACCELERATION
BFAD leverages the extensive reach of the BWA Network representing conventions, churches, and leaders in 138 countries. This enables rapid, locally-led responses in times of crisis. In addition, the global structure facilitates professional and effective exchange of information and communication among its members.
